RETURN POLICY

We proudly offer a 15 Day Return / Exchange Policy.
While the vast majority of retailers in the South Asian Fashion industry believe in Final Sale only, we at The Saree Room want to provide you with the opportunity to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. You have 15 days from the date of purchase to send back your items for either a return or exchange. We will accept online returns via mail only. 

The Saree Room will refund/exchange any item, without question, provided that it has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached. 

Purchases of items in the “sale” section are FINAL and cannot be returned or exchanged. We reserve the right to designate any other items as non-returnable at our discretion. Any such designation will be noted on each item detail page. 

Please take your time trying everything on.  If you do decide to make a return, simply fill out the Return Form included in your parcel and send the items back to us. 

Please keep in mind that online purchases must be returned via mail and the items you wish to return need to be sent to us 15 days from the date you placed your order. Failure to do so will result in your return/exchange to be rejected and you will be responsible for any costs associated to sending the item back to you. 

The customer will be responsible for the associated fees (if applicable) as described below. Please note that jewelry cannot be returned due to safety and hygienic reasons.

  • REFUND OPTION ($10 Restocking Fee + $10 Label Fee applies)

Return via pre-paid label included in original order. You can easily return items by following these steps:

  • Fill in the Return Form that was included in your parcel, using the code that best explains your reason for returning.
  • Place the Return Form, together with the items in a suitable bag or box, e.g. the one you received your parcel in.
  • Attach the self-adhesive Return Label to your return parcel.
  • Take your parcel to a convenient UPS Drop Off Center. Please remember to get proof of postage.
  • For items being returned from outside of Canada, please also attach the self-adhesive Commercial invoice to your return package.

Customers will be charged a $10CAD restocking fee and a $10CAD Shipping Label Fee. You will be refunded the original purchase price, not including the original shipping cost. Why do I have to pay for shipping and restocking? We don’t incorporate the cost of return shipping and admin in our prices in order to keep our prices as low as possible. This means, when you purchase anything from us, you’re not overpaying to cover someone else’s returns.

  • STORE CREDIT OPTION  (Full Value)

You can easily return items by following these steps:

  • Fill in the Return Form that was included in your parcel, using the code that best explains your reason for returning.
  • Place the Return Form, together with the items in a suitable bag or box, e.g. the one you received your parcel in.
  • Attach the self-adhesive Return Label (on the Delivery Note) to your return parcel.
  • Take your parcel to a convenient UPS Drop Off Center. Please remember to get proof of postage.
  • For items being returned from outside of Canada, please also attach the self-adhesive Commercial invoice to your return package.

Customers will receive the full value of their purchase, not including the original shipping cost in the form of a The Saree Room gift Card which has no expiry date.

  • EXCHANGE OPTION

PLEASE EMAIL info@TheSareeRoom.com BEFORE SENDING YOUR ITEMS BACK. We must confirm with you in writing that we have the availability of the item you wish to exchange.

You can easily exchange items by following these steps:

  • Fill out the contact form below and include the items/sizes you wish to exchange. 
  • Once we confirm your exchange via email:
  • Fill in the Return Form that was included in your parcel, using the code that best explains your reason for returning.
  • Place the Return Form, together with the items in a suitable bag or box, e.g. the one you received your parcel in.
  • Attach the self-adhesive Return Label (on the Delivery Note) to your return parcel.
  • Take your parcel to a convenient UPS Drop Off Center. Please remember to get proof of postage.
  • For items being returned from outside of Canada, please also attach the self-adhesive Commercial invoice to your return package. 

Customers exchanging the same item for a different size will have their exchange processed FREE of charge. Customers exchanging an item for a different item (including a different color) will be sent a payment link in their exchange confirmation email. The restocking fee of $10CAD must be paid prior to The Saree Room shipping your exchange item. Please note that if you send the items for exchange prior to receiving confirmation from The Saree Room in writing, we will process the item as a return for store credit as described in Section 2. STORE CREDIT OPTION.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Refund: Your refund will be issued within 3-5 business days of The Saree Room receiving your items. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued. Please note that depending on your financial institution, the refund may take 2-3 business days to reflect on your statement. 

Store Credit: Your store credit will be issued via online Gift Card within 3-5 business days of The Saree Room receiving your items. You will receive an email confirmation once your Gift Card has been issued. 

Exchanges: Your exchange will be shipped within 3-5 business days of The Saree Room receiving your items. You will receive an email confirmation with a UPS tracking number once your exchange has been issued. For exchanges for different items (including different colors) the payment of $10CAD will be required prior to your items being shipped.
